Idaho Pavilion

Exhibit To Change

Article from May 11, 1974 The Spokesman-Review (Spokane, Washington)

Hindered by low budget, the original version of the Idaho exhibit received "near-unanimous disappointment" from visitors. Governor Cecil D. Andrus ordered some improvements and the re-designed exhibit opened on June 9. It now featured such attractions as a 13-foot-tall memorial to the miners killed in the Sunshine Mine disaster, a mining exhibit featuring garnets from St. Maries, a slide show, and a 1,100 ounce bar of pure silver.
