Catalog of Postcard Images
The official postcards have a large range of images, and are among the most commonly-available Expo souvenirs. Many images used on Expo merchandise feature the same subjects (gondolas, U.S. pavilion, etc.), appear in multiple formats (full-scale postcard, miniature postcard, snap-out photo print, place mat), and/or are labeled on the front with similar or identical names.To help keep track of which postcards were already in my collection, I started adding three-digit numbers to the descriptive titles of each. The numbers are included here for my own use and in case it makes life easier for anyone else interested in Expo items.
Expo postcards are sometimes listed on eBay or other re-sale sites as rare items, which is fortunately not the case. For any of the wavy-edged official postcards, you should be able to find them for no more than $2-3 each. Postcard packs should usually run from $5-15. Postcards are a great entry point for somebody who wants a bit of Expo ephemera to call their own, but they are definitely not hard to come by.
